Using a unique mind-body-spirit-environment health and healing program developed by FLIHH founder Sheri Damon, FLIHH offers individual, family and group TheraFarm™ sessions. 

Illness thrives in isolation and the repeated and potentially distorted information in one’s brain. In order to change destructive thinking and/or behaviors it is essential to find new connections, locate one’s joy and playfulness, retrain the brain and feel positive about engaging activities. Working in nature and with animals is a great way to do this! There is no greater reward than to laugh with the chickens or feel the love of our mini horse, Monkey, or snuggle with the goats.

Several of our clinicians are trained in the TheraFarm™ program and are able to incorporate this into individual therapy sessions held in person at Butterflihh Farm in Marshfield.

TheraFarm™ Training for Professionals: 

Work with Flihh staff to experience COPER™ skills in action while using animal care, meditative tools in nature, sensory soothing techniques to refocus and retrain the brain, recognizing the healing power of the TheraFarm™ program.

Includes 2 hours asynchronous training, 4 hours synchronous training (6 hours total)

Scheduling: The sessions will be scheduled to best meet participants needs and instructor availability. Contact info@flihh.com to schedule

Delivery: The course can be designed for a group of employees. We also offer this training twice a year and individuals may register for these open enrollment classes.

Cost:
Groups – $2,400 flat fee for a group of up to 8 students
Individual – $395 per person

Workforce Grant Funding: Organizations that contribute to Massachusetts unemployment insurance may be eligible for full reimbursement of training costs. We are happy to provide guidance on how to access these funds and navigate the reimbursement process.

Working with a farm staff member, a person can feel the healing power, interact with nature, animals and the environment on our therapeutic farm while donating their time and talent. This opportunity is available for students, clients, all ages and genders. All volunteers must complete a release prior to participating (minors need permission from parent/guardian).
