Sydney (they, them/she, her) has rejoined the FLIHH team as the Director of Wellness, with their focus being on the holistic wellbeing of our clients. After years of working as a Mental Health Associate in mental health hospitals and residential treatment facilities, Sydney has turned their focus to more holistic and naturopathic methods of treatment. Sydney has worked with various acuity levels/diagnoses as well as individuals of all ages, backgrounds, genders, ethnicities, races, and cultures. They will find something in common with anyone they work with and will make you feel comfortable and seen in the safe, welcoming space they provide.
Sydney is Certified Master of Usui Reiki Ryoho by Ksenia Luki and by the International Center for Reiki Training in Usui and Holy Fire III Reiki Ryoho Levels I and II. They are also a certified Level II Sound Healer.
An avid yogi of over 12 years, Sydney is a 200 Hr Registered Yoga Teacher. Sydney also has a Crystal and Chakra Healer Certification after years of researching and utilizing crystals in conjunction with other healing techniques.
Sydney is in the process of becoming a certified TheraFarm™ Practitioner to combine their experience with their love of animals and nature. They are also a Licensed Boat Captain, credentialed by the US Coast Guard, and hope to eventually incorporate their love for the ocean and boating with their wellness practice. Sydney’s ultimate goal is to get their degree in Integrative Psychology/Mind-Body Medicine to combine both clinical and holistic methods of healing to treat the whole individual.
