Find A Way To Play!

                                                        Play and mindfulness?

Play allows you to be active, both mind and body experiencing joy and attending to the present moment. When you are mindful, you observe your thoughts and feelings openly without judgment. You are grounded in your senses with what you see, hear, smell and touch in the present moment.  Our senses involve one of the most primary processes in our brain. It is a great way to give our brain a break from stressors.

Playing is not just for kids! Play is an important source of relaxation and stimulation for adults as well. Playing with your romantic partner, friends, co-workers, pets, and children is a sure (and fun) way to fuel your imagination, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and emotional well-being. Play can add joy to life, relieve stress, supercharge learning, and connect you to others and the world around you. Play can also make work more productive and pleasurable. What have you done to play lately?
