Eating Disorder Treatment
Eating disorder treatment at FLIHH offers psycho-educational support groups for teens and adults as well as support for parents and families.
Dealing with eating disorders is isolating and debilitating, impacting all aspects of an individual’s and family’s functioning. The therapeutic Butterflihh Farm offers clients the opportunity to experience and learn mindfulness and establish the soothing and healing effects of connections to senses, nature, animals, and personal creativity.
Sheri Damon, LMHC, Founder and President of FLIHH, has been working in the field of eating disorder treatment for over 10 years. Sheri uses her COPER model to encourage clients to explore connections outside the eating disorder, engage in optimistic thinking, and feeling an internal locus of control. FLIHH programs help clients regain playfulness and joy in many forms in their lives, discover the “power” in empowerment, and to build and reinforce resiliency.
