Dawn Vincent is a licensed certified social worker who was born and raised on Cape Cod. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Lesley University in Human Development and her Master’s in clinical social work from Boston University.
Dawn has worked with clients of all ages throughout the past fourteen years. She has experience with treating clients with substance abuse as well as anxiety, depression, and grief. She loves working with teens and families. She has had the opportunity to focus on the adult/geriatric population in settings such as sub-acute rehab, long term care, and home health/hospice social work. Dawn utilizes strength based, client-centered, and cognitive behavioral therapy approaches with clients while incorporating mindfulness and nature to help with coping and healing. Dawn has been trained in the COPER Model and disordered eating with Flihh. She is a mom of three sons and enjoys watching them play hockey, gardening, animals, candle making, and most of all spending time with family and friends.
