Illness thrives in isolation and the repeated and potentially distorted information in one’s brain. In order to change destructive thinking and/or behaviors it is essential to find new connections, locate one’s joy/playfulness, retrain the brain and recognize the energy in engaging activities as well as positive input from the environment. TheraFarm™ engages strategies from ecotherapy, positive psychology, animal-assisted therapy, nature bathing, as well as cognitive and behavioral theories. The program is effective across all ages and genders. The course will address the various applications.

Requirements: 

• 2 hour asynchronous training
• 4 hour synchronous didactic trainings one month apart. The second training includes clinical experience case supervision. (total 6 hour training)
• Final assessment by trainer

In order to conduct therapy, you must meet the licensure requirements of your state or jurisdiction. This certification does not supersede licensing requirements. The level of education is appropriate for students, interns, pre-licensure professionals and licensed professionals in a variety of disciplines from integrative health to social work and psychotherapy. 

All reading materials are provided.

Scheduling: The sessions will be scheduled to best meet participants needs and instructor availability.

Delivery: The course can be designed for a group of employees. We also offer this training twice a year and individuals may register for these open enrollment classes.

Cost:
Groups – $2,400 flat fee for a group of up to 8 students
Individual – $395 per person

Workforce Grant Funding: Organizations that contribute to Massachusetts unemployment insurance may be eligible for full reimbursement of training costs. We are happy to provide guidance on how to access these funds and navigate the reimbursement process.
