Amy Hopkinson | LMHC, NCC, LPC
Amy is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a National Clinical Counselor. She also is a Licensed Professional Clinician and a licensed School Adjustment Counselor in the state of Colorado. She earned a dual masters degree in school and clinical counseling from the UCCS (university of colorado – colorado springs) with an addictions minor. She has experience in various settings including; inpatient, PHP, IOP, outpatient and school based treatment.
Amy takes a wholesome approach to treatment and believes that connecting with our past and present experiences is an important part to understanding how this shaped us into who we are and can help aid in positive growth and change.
She specializes in the integration of different psychotherapy orientations, such as mindfulness practices, cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, DBT and breathing/breath-work when appropriate, to best support needs.
